We went to Nacogdoches to spend Thanksgiving with Chris' family. The whole family was there. We had a blast at the park taking pictures. Krista and Annabelle were precious!

Chris performs his first wedding!

Chris was asked to perform his first wedding in October. Ryan, a friend from college, wanted Chris to be the pastor for his wedding in Nebraska. We flew to Nebraska and Chris did an amazing job. He received so many compliments on the service. I was so proud of him. He did a great job!

The Triplets

The triplets are getting so big!!!
Maci, Molli, and Max are almost 9 months old now.

England Mission Trip

I left for England on Wednesday, October 17 and returned on October 23. We flew to England from DFW, then took a train to Middlesboro where we met our host for the week. My host's were incredible people and a blessing to say with. I spent Friday in a school outside of Middlesboro. I, along with three others from the group, talked to students in a Religious Education class about why we are theist and why we are Christ followers. The students had some very impressive questions and we did our best to answer them to the best of our ability. Saturday, we went sight seeing with our hosts and went to a Futbol Match after lunch. I really enjoyed getting to spend time in around the people and culture of England. Sunday, I preached at Berwick Hills Baptist Church then traveled by train to London. Sunday night we ate Mexican food at the Texas Embassy, then went and watched the Cowboys game. Monday, we spend the day sight seeing in London. Monday night, I saw Robert Redford and Tom Cruise in the Picadilly Circus area. They were there promoting their new movie, Lions for Lambs. Tuesday morning, we woke up early and got on a train to head to the Airport. We flew home and arrived mid-afternoon on Tuesday, Oct. 23. It was a great trip.

We went to the Texas A&M and Oklahoma State football game in College Station. Mike and Melissa went with us and we had a blast. The Aggies won 24 to 23!!! It was an awesome game!

Ranger's Game

I had the privilege of going to the Rangers game with the other Pastors from GFC and we had the best seats I've ever sat in. It was a fun game to be at. Sammy Sosa drove in the winning run with a walk-off single. Good times.

They Call Him Fletch - Fletch the Toilet

We have a new addition to the Hurst family. We have a new cat named Fletch. We got the cat from The Johnson Family several weeks ago and I gotta say he's a pretty cool cat. I am pretty sure he thinks he is a dog though. He loves Champ and Champ tolerates him. When we first got him, he was still barely weened and every time he got hungry he would try to nurse on Champ. Champ was not a fan. It's pretty funny though to look outside and watch our cat and dog play chase - and the cat doing the chasing half the time. Welcome to the family Fletch!

I almost forgot to explain the title... There was a little girl in Julie's class that asked her what our cat's name is and misunderstood Julie when she told her. The little girl ask, "Like flush the toilet?" She thought our cat's name was Flush... Strange kid... Really.

The Triplets

Here are the latest pictures of my cousin's triplets. They are almost 5 months old!

Almost Finished!!!

Well, our house is almost finished. We are getting so excited. We had to be out of our rent house by today. We moved all our stuff into the garage of our new house and cleaned the rent house today. We are exhausted but glad to be finished moving for now. We will close on our new house on Thursday and officially move in. It is looking great!

Pool Party

Sunday, after church we grilled hot dogs and hamburgers and swam in my parent's pool. We invited the Powers and the Burnetts to eat and swim. We had a great time with 6 kids and 2 puppies. However, the kids weren't the funny ones...it was the men. They returned to childhood trying to do crazy tricks off the diving board and jumping through a very very small pink floatie.

Our New House

Our house is actually beginning to look like a real house. They are almost finished with the outside. The cabinets, light fixtures, fans, and counter tops are supposed to be installed at the end of this week. It is not looking like we will make our close date but hopefully it will be soon after. We are very excited and cannot wait to move in to our first home!

Family Vacation

My parents took my brothers, Chris, and I to the Woodlands for a family vacation. We had a couple of days to relax. Chris and I stayed an extra couple of days for our one year anniversary. It was very relaxing!

Chicago Mission Trip

Chris and I went to Chicago for a mission trip. There we worked with children in inner city Chicago. We helped put on a Day Camp, Monday through Wednesday. We took the kids to the zoo on Thursday and held a Carnival on Friday. We were able to share the love of Christ with these students and had an awesome week. Check out the Mission Trip blog listed under my other sites.

Denver, Colorado

Chris and I went to Denver, Colorado for his sister's graduation. Lou graduated from Colorado Christian University as Valedictorian. She would be the smart one in the family! We are so proud of her!

The Triplets

This week I went to see my cousin Jana's triplets. They are 3 months old now and are precious. A handful, but they are awesome! Here is the latest picture.

Our First House

We are building our first house in Chisholm Springs. We are so excited! We have a corner lot which will be great for our dogs. It will give us a little bigger backyard. Today they started the framing. They keep telling us it will be finished by the end of July. We will see!
